• Flytipping (off-road): I writing to make you aware of the disturbing state of Billet Lane and Bellswood Lane regarding fly tipping and littering A few weeks ago, you organised for the ditches to be cleared by sup-contractors with a JCB loader. Ten years of litter and sediment from the ditches were cleared and the resulting rubbish was left all the way down the side of the road – where it remains and is a complete mess. Due to the road works on Five Points Roundabout, you made Billet Lane the diversion road for traffic including heavy goods vehicles, even though the road was not suitable for them as per the signs. Due to the narrowness of the Billet Lane this has resulted in the sediment and litter previously cleared being pushed back into the ditches in numerous places undoing the clearance work you have already done. Since the diversion was in place at least 8 drops of fly tipping have been dumped along Billet Lane and Bellswood Lane adding to the mess you made from failed ditch clearance. More litter from visitors to Langley Park has now dumped on the side of the fly tip dump piles over the last 3 weeks and needs to cleared up.
