Over flowing rubbish bins/ Dog waste in and around the play park in Harvest Close, Hawkslade.

There are several litter bins in the vicinity of the play park, they are all overflowing with disgusting rubbish, including a soiled nappy. Dog walkers are leaving dog waste bags on the top of the overflowing rubbish and birds are dragging them out and spilling the contents everywhere. My children and I spent two hours litter picking in that area, most of it probably because the bins are not emptied regularly enough. This is where children play, please clean it up.

  • Dog bins emptied on a schedule which can be weekly or twice weekly; we will ensure this bin emptied as soon as possible.
