Edinburgh Playing Field

Would like to report a safety issue at the park where the shelter previously stood.

The shelter was removed over a year ago, but the 4 metal fixings that secured it to the ground have been left exposed. These metal parts are jagged and sharp and remain clearly visible above ground level.

This presents a significant safety hazard, particularly as the park is regularly used by children and families. If someone, especially a child, were to trip or fall onto the exposed metal, they could sustain a serious injury.

The issue has now been present for over a year and has still not been addressed. I would be grateful if this could be inspected and the exposed metal removed or made safe as a matter of priority.

Could you also please confirm whether the shelter is due to be replaced? If it is not, I would appreciate the remaining fixings being removed and the ground reinstated to a safe condition.
