New Owners Parking Dangerously on Hammersley Lane

There are two houses currently being renovated, side-by-side, just by the turn off to Robinson Road. From what I can tell, both houses are occupied by the same family and the renovations have been going for at least a year now. There are almost always 2-4 cars parked out the front, blocking the footpath and obstructing part of Hammersley Lane, heading down towards London Road. I've witnessed many near misses between the traffic going up and down, as you come round the bend and suddenly have to swerve around the parked cars, taking you into the uphill lane, or suddenly brake to a stop. I've also seen close misses of the people themselves, as they get in and out of their cars. As well as greatly affecting traffic flow and being EXTREMELY dangerous as it stands, work has now begun just metres further down for Gomm Valley development. There will undoubtably be a lot of HGV traffic now, which makes this parking even more perilous. Not a single other resident along Hammersley parks in this manner, they all use their rear parking (via access road behind) or have created off-street parking. This has been the observed and respected rule in the 16 years I have lived here.
