Street Light associated with Power supply repair
Reported via desktop in the Street light not working category anonymously at 09:13, Tuesday 7 July 2026
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9745759.
Ongoing Gas main repair work in Cumberland Close identified an electric power supply problem to several properties in the close. UK Power Networks repaired the power cable, but even though they said the adjacent street light outside numbers 16/17 was affected (working before work started) the street light is no longer working, and the excavation in the pavement is still open. Likely, the excavation will be filled in by Gas company and re -excavated by whoever comes to fix the street light.

The Street Lighting Team aim to repair all faulty lighting within 20 working days, however, there may be some circumstances that this time for repairs is be extended. For example, if it is an electricity supply fault, this will be passed to the local electricity network operator to attend and rectify as we cannot work on their network, in these cases we will update you to let you know it is an electricity supply fault.
