Overdue street light dim request
Reported via mobile in the Street light dim category by Rebecca Small at 11:15, Monday 6 July 2026
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9740060.
Request made to Unitary Council on 20th April to have reinstalled lighting dimmed as it has affected bedroom sleep even with blackouts and lounge, since being turned on at max power. Due to the height of the light and house, it runs parallel to upper levels. There is no need for this light to be at the current brightness. Please reduce as discussed previously. Thank you

The Street Lighting Team aim to repair all faulty lighting within 20 working days, however, there may be some circumstances that this time for repairs is be extended. For example, if it is an electricity supply fault, this will be passed to the local electricity network operator to attend and rectify as we cannot work on their network, in these cases we will update you to let you know it is an electricity supply fault.
