Denham public footpath crossing 11th fairway

Intimidating behaviour from a member of The Buckinghamshire whilst I was walking along footpath DEN47/1. I was called over by a golf club member who said that I was on private land, I responded and said I appreciate it. It’s private land but there is a public footpath which runs across it. Another golf club member approached me and told me I was wrong, I tried to explain to him that I was not wrong and that I had every right to walk along this footpath as it is public (I had already waited for them to play through). The golf club member dressed in Bay shorts and a blue shirt with a blue cap on, male in his 50s began to shout at me and told me to fuck off because I was fucking stupid! I will make a complaint to the Buckinghamshire, I was told by a member of staff on scene to talk to Gerry Ivers the general manager.
