New Road - Traffic Lights
Reported via mobile in the Temporary traffic lights problem category anonymously at 19:09, Monday 15 June 2026
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9626347.
On the new New Road, on the hump in the road, there are now traffic lights. These lights are red for the normal cars for AGES. They’re clearly on a timer rather than a sensor which is unacceptable as there are hundreds of cars driving through and one lorry/digger driving crossing the building site every hour or so. So the lights should only go red for the cars, when there is actually a lorry/digger crossing, and not every few minutes. And then left on red for a few minutes! Also, when there is no one left on side at the end of the day, the lights have been left on so we’re all just waiting at a red light for no reason whatsoever. Please sort it out!
