I am reporting this area again. In the last report it was stated that there would be an inspection of this area. I can confirm that I saw some council workers stop in a van opposite the offending area sometime ago. The workers in the van did not even get out of the vehicle. Let alone even walk around the jungle this area has become over the years. There has been no report, update or decision as to whether any maintenance work will be completed any time soon. The report appears to be closed down again. It is extremely unfair that all the residents living near this area should be ignored and have to look and live with our road in this scruffy and unkept state. Everyone works hard to run their homes and pay bills and shouldn’t have to put up with the unruly sight of this area. This area needs to be cut back completely and not just pulling the Ivy that had grown round the signs off and leaving the rest still climbing up the sign. I have cut small parts of the weeds back myself so that people can actually walk down the pavement and footpath. This area has not been fully maintained by the council for at least 5 years.
