Hedge causing obstruction at junction

At the junction of New Road and the entrance to Eastwood Road is a hedge that protrudes onto the pavement. It causes vehicles using the junction exiting Eastwood Road to have to pull forward into oncoming traffic. Especially dangerous for motorbike users.

Updates

  • This issue remains. Cars have to pull out into traffic to be able to see whether they can turn into New Road. There is now construction work in the road making the matter worse.
