Outside number 16

Reported via Android in the Street light dim category anonymously at 21:42, Sunday 22 March 2026

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9166187.

The choice was not there. Rather than too dim the street light is incredibly bright. So brights it's near daylight, plants growing underneath struggle, I can only assume birds, bats and others animals and making sleep tough. Blinds, curtains, tough to accommodate https://www.bbc.co.uk/ news/ science-environment-58333233 Suggests managed down light using warm light not blue ... Can I ask you consider the lighting and if you can help it would be great to sleep better.

Updates

  • The Street Lighting Team aim to repair all faulty lighting within 20 working days, however, there may be some circumstances that this time for repairs is be extended. For example, if it is an electricity supply fault, this will be passed to the local electricity network operator to attend and rectify as we cannot work on their network, in these cases we will update you to let you know it is an electricity supply fault.
