Cars parked on public footpath on Turnfurlong,

This is a busy footpath, with students attending the three local schools, totalling 4000. Members of staff at Aylesbury Grammar School have reported students needing to walk in the road due to the path being blocked, which is obviously a safety concern. In addition visibility for cars leaving the site via the vehicle cards is severely diminished, which again is a safety concern for pedestrians. This has been ongoing for 3 weeks, despite conversations with the foreman at the works being carried out at the Millwrights pub opposite, with the workers there being the vehicle drivers

  • This has been passed to the Parking Services Team.

    Subject to available resources, a civil enforcement officer (traffic warden) will go and assess, and if a vehicle is parked in contravention of a parking restriction, a penalty charge notice may be issued.
