In heavy rain early this morning, water coming from the risen drain cover, was running down the footpath almost and inch deep. obviously the drain is still blocked, as previously reported, and should be cleaned urgently. cover

Reported via desktop in the Footpath / pavement problem category anonymously at 10:46, Saturday 17 January 2026

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8707364.

I live in Greenside, and not being a car driver, frequently walk Greenside and Blind Lane, to reach the centre of Bourne End. This was reported by another person, in December last year, and clearly the problem still exists. Pedestrians get a raw deal compared to car drivers, judging by the lack of attention pavements receive, cf roads and potholes.
