Eyre Close at junction with Great Meadow Way

Reported via desktop in the Parking on double yellow lines category anonymously at 18:12, Saturday 10 January 2026

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8663395.

Large and wide flat bed truck Parking right on limit of double yellow lines, causing obstruction to entry and exit, with dangerously limited views, and no ability for vehicles to enter and exit simultaneously, due to insufficient room. In the recent icy conditions my vehicle almost skidded on turning left into Eyre close, towards the opposite kerb, with almost no room to manoeuvre.

The yellow lines should be extended to the minimum distance from the junction in line with the Highway Code, rule 243, 10 metres ( 32 feet)

Updates

  • This has been passed to the Parking Services Team.

Subject to available resources, a civil enforcement officer (traffic warden) will go and assess, and if a vehicle is parked in contravention of a parking restriction, a penalty charge notice may be issued.

    Buckinghamshire Council
