Junction of Hodds Wood Road with Bois Moor Road Chesham

Reported via desktop in the Parking in a restricted space category anonymously at 15:37, Sat 6 December 2025

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8510427.

The owner of a grey Ford pick up truck registration number EJ23 PFX regularly parks in Hodds Wood road directly at the mouth of the junction with Bois Moor Road. The vehicle is parked within 10 meters of the give way lines. This has been happening on a daily basis since the summer. The location of the parking and the size of the vehicle present a danger for other road users and pedestrians. Negotiating the junction is made difficult and dangerous because the vehicle limits vision making a collision highly likely. It is also a hazard for people crossing on foot at this location as they cannot be seen because the vehicle obstructs vision.

Updates

  • This has been passed to the Parking Services Team.
