Severe damage to the soft verge outside 115/117 Stanley Hill.
Reported via desktop in the Cleaning/Sweeping category anonymously at 12:09, Fri 5 December 2025
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council 1 week, 5 days, 21 hours, 54 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 8505852.
The soft verge has been severely damaged due to vehicles repeatedly driving over it since the protective bollards were knocked down. Deep tyre ruts have formed and mud is now spreading across the pavement, creating a slipping hazard for pedestrians — including parents with prams, wheelchair users and others who rely on safe access. On bin collection days, the wheelie bins further narrow the footpath, forcing pedestrians closer to the mud, and in some cases into the road. The verge continues to deteriorate and has become an eyesore. Protective bollards or another barrier urgently need to be reinstated to prevent vehicle access and to allow repairs to the verge and pavement.
