Cross Roads Garage

Reported via desktop in the Parking on a footpath category anonymously at 12:48, Thu 4 December 2025

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8501307.

This business is constantly using the public pavement as an extension of their garage parking beyond what anyone would consider reasonable for conducting their day to day business in terms of vehicle drop offs. I am regularly forced into the main road while pushing my young children in a pram during heavy traffic periods (School drop offs) because the pavement is completely blocked by their vehicles. This is extremely dangerous not to mention inconsiderate and I have witnessed elderly people and people on mobility scooters being forced to do the same. Judging by the number of complaints against this business over the years it is clear this issue is not being addressed with them. Please don't wait for a serious road accident to occur before action is taken to force this entitled business to conduct themselves professionally.

Updates

  • This has been passed to the Parking Services Team.

Subject to available resources, a civil enforcement officer (traffic warden) will go and assess, and if a vehicle is parked in contravention of a parking restriction, a penalty charge notice may be issued.
