Inconsiderate parking by school parents
Reported via mobile in the Blocking a private drive category anonymously at 16:57, Mon 1 December 2025
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8487764.
Every single day when I walk along Hampden Road I see parents parking their cars wherever they want! Over private driveways, over zig zag lines, on pavements. It’s completely inconsiderate and unnecessary as there is ample parking further away from school. It puts children at risk and it is acceptable. Where are the parking wardens!? The council are aware of the problem and it happens at the same time every day. Why is this not being taken seriously, why aren’t parking wardens being dispatched as a deterrent? I’ve spoken to multiple parents who have parked dangerously & have been met with either nonchalance or aggression so no longer feel comfortable trying to resolve it informally
