Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8419574.
Access points to the drainage pond are blocked and need clearing as the water is not able to get through and drain away meaning that the road and surrounding land gets flooded. Brambles are also overgrowing across the pod also causing issues. Please can this all be cleared and a maintenance schedule arranged.

We know that an important part of any road network is the drainage system which is designed to carry water away from the road surface. As a general rule ditches along the side of the road are the responsibility of whoever owns the land on which they are situated, they should maintain and keep the ditch capable of carrying water away from the road.
The Highway Officer will carry out an inspection within 10 days and if it is the responsibility of Buckinghamshire Council and work is required, we will raise and order and have the work done.
If the responsibility is with the landowner, we will not use taxpayers money to carry out the work, we will write to the land owner and request they carry out the necessary work on their land.
