Recent dangerous parking right around the corner marked on the map unsighted me (a resident of Grange Road) and an oncoming car this morning 12 Nov, where the other car had to swerve into the convent’s driveway to avoid a head-on collision. This is a daily issue that started in the last 8 weeks. Cars often come around that corner at some speed - we used to be able to allow each other to pass on that corner - now with cars parked on the inside bend it blocks our view and prevents us from being able to pull in to allow cars to pass safely.

  • This has been passed to the Parking Services Team.

    Subject to available resources, a civil enforcement officer (traffic warden) will go and assess, and if a vehicle is parked in contravention of a parking restriction, a penalty charge notice may be issued.
