Electric fence all electrical
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8367587.
Sadly this public footway into a horse field is surrounded by full electric fencing. No signs that it’s fully charged only a small sliver is covered in plastic entering a horse field when stepping over the style. I’m absolutely vexed that my dog who is trained to jump over styles was zapped by an electric fence on the left, right and under neath was on charge. It was a mighty zap in order to make our dogs scream. HS2 have shut off the way to finmere woods so we decide to take another way that we have previously been before to find the owners have made a full waist human height electrical fence on full Charge making it impossible to pass. No signs to say. I am absolutely fuming as it causes both our dogs and us extreme distress. THIS NEEDS TO BE SORTED BEFORE THE PUBLIC TAKE THEIR OWN ACTION.

Thank you for your enquiry, the issue you have reported will be investigated by a Rights of Way Officer. The route may be inspected to carry out an assessment of condition and responsibility; where maintenance is required this will be added to the list of works programmed to be undertaken by our works contractors/volunteers. Or where necessary we will contact the landowner on any matter that is their responsibility. The record will be updated when we have confirmation the work has been completed.
