Multiple trees and bushes blocking pavement

There's a footpath which leads from Clifford road to the Wycombe road. It's used by school children and lots of residents. At the Clifford road end, the hedge is overgrown and means you can only walk single file. As you go further down trees and bushes overhang so that it blocks out all the street lights. Walking from the bend to the road there are places where the overhang from ivy on dead trees is dangerous and under 6ft. Further down there's a private hedge which is only 5ft 7 above the ground so means you have to duck or walk in the soil. Where it opens alongside Carlton court the hedges have overlapped so much from gatensbury place that you have to walk on the grass. This becomes deep mud as soon as it rains. Please can it all be cut back because it gets worse every year. Someone lovely cut one ivy tree over the summer because it was 5ft off the ground - they cut away all the overhang which is needed to make that path safe again
