Contractors putting up signs WAY to early and causing huge delays

This morning the contractors working on the A413 cutting hedges etc decided to stop their van on the carriageway over 1 hour before their 930am permit. From 815am this morning there were HUGE TAILBACKS towards Wendover and Amersham and Wendover was grid locked because of this. This happens a lot on the A413 because they think it’s ok. It’s not . It causes at least 20 minute delays for people going to work and School AND emergency vehicles. I am sure if you ask on Facebook you will find hundreds of vehicles with dashcam footage of the stopped white van and operatives in high viz not working with their time permissions. 930am means 930am for a reason ! A413 is a very very busy road until 930am Please tell them not to do this. And future workers….

    The team will carry out an inspection and order a repair if required, this can take up to 10 working days
