Cars parked dangerously

Reported via mobile in the Parking on a footpath category anonymously at 13:33, Fri 26 September 2025

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8218344.

Hiya, There has been an ongoing issue around the Totteridge area for some time now. Cars are parked on grass verges, over pavements, on double yellow lines and across private driveways on a regular basis, especially around 13:30 when the local mosque is in use. I've seen parking fines given out for people parked in the nearby bays without permits, but never any fines on the cars parked so selfishly and irresponsibly on the verges, pavements, double yellow lines and driveways. The issue continues all the way to the top of Totteridge Avenue, where cars even park across the junction! I can provide further photos if required - I can't attach many to this complaint. I hope that some consistency in the use of fines will be implemented, and ideally something done about the apparent assumption that people can park where they like and get away with it. Thank you, Fiona Day
