Wooden posts/bollards have been forcibly removed to facilitate illegal parking

Reported via desktop in the Parking in a restricted space category anonymously at 12:57, Sun 17 August 2025

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8036008.

Where Skirmett Road meets Marlow road (A4155) numerous wooden posts/bollards have been forcibly removed resulting in a steady stream of people parking on the verge. People turning onto the verge to park potentially cause an accident and leaving vehicles parked here obstructs the view of cars turning out of Skirmett road, right, towards Henley.

Updates

  • This has been passed to the Parking Services Team.

Subject to available resources, a civil enforcement officer (traffic warden) will go and assess, and if a vehicle is parked in contravention of a parking restriction, a penalty charge notice may be issued.
