I asked the question as to whether the council had a traveler Liaison Officer and was directed to this site to report the problem. Cadent have a High Pressure gas pipeline running through the traveler site. Our helicopter surveys found a large bonfire in close proximity of the pipeline. This pipeline is a Major Accident Hazard Pipeline and bonfires are a high risk to these. One of our engineers attended site and spoke to someone on site who was quite hostile and made it clear they did not want him there. He was not allowed on site and he could see there was further piles that were set for burning. The land is unregistered so we have no details of who owns the land. Are you able to put me in touch with your traveler Liaison Officer so they can help and work with us to come up with an amicable agreement to avoid any further bonfires on or near the pipeline?
