Cars parked on footpath.

Reported via iOS in the Parking on a footpath category anonymously at 19:59, Tue 12 August 2025

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8016541.

I am writing to raise an ongoing safety concern outside 38 St Huberts Close. There are always two cars parked directly outside and to the side of this property, fully on top of the pavement. This completely blocks the footpath, making it impossible for pedestrians to pass without stepping into the road.

This creates a significant danger for our community, particularly for young children and elderly residents who use the pavement throughout the day. We have many vulnerable pedestrians in the area, and being forced into the road puts them at serious risk.

I would like to request that this matter be investigated as soon as possible, and that action is taken to prevent vehicles from obstructing the pavement in this way.

Thank you for your attention to this important safety issue.

Updates

  • This has been passed to the Parking Services Team.

Subject to available resources, a civil enforcement officer (traffic warden) will go and assess, and if a vehicle is parked in contravention of a parking restriction, a penalty charge notice may be issued.
