From 33 all the way upto 100 door number

Reported via mobile in the Street light not working category anonymously at 11:38, Mon 4 August 2025

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7975781.

The street lights from 33 underwood road upto 100 are not working. This is very dangerous being disabled i tripped over twice due to no lights on street and it is pitch black at night. Not able to see where the curb and road is or any thing in my way. This has been reported several times and still the lights are out. This is healthy and safety and I could have done some serious damage to myself. Luckily I got away with a scrap this time and not broken anything.

Updates

  • The Street Lighting Team aim to repair all faulty lighting within 20 working days, however, there may be some circumstances that this time for repairs is be extended. For example, if it is an electricity supply fault, this will be passed to the local electricity network operator to attend and rectify as we cannot work on their network, in these cases we will update you to let you know it is an electricity supply fault.

  • Update

We have attended the site and have carried out a full assessment on the lighting column, 95% of lighting reports are repaired on the first visit, as they are generally more minor issues such as replacing the bulb. Unfortunately, there are occasions when further work is required.

This assessment highlighted that there is a fault with the electrical supply and further investigation is required by the local electricity network operator, we have forwarded the details to them. We cannot work on their network, and we also have no control over the electricity supplier service levels, which tend to be up to 90 working days.

Once the electricity supplier has contacted us to advise the supply fault has been resolved, we will then check that the issue is fixed and will update this report.
