Outside Daisybank Hay Lane
Reported via mobile in the Footpath / pavement problem category anonymously at 20:15, Mon 28 July 2025
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7945819.
I am writing to inform you that I have previously reported the broken pavement in-front of my property a year or two ago on Fix my street, however my report was closed based on the fact that it’s not a priority.
Over the year or so, the pavement has gotten worse and worse as the tarmac has crumbled and broken off even more, causing issues for people to walk over without tripping. As it’s outside our property we are having to deal with this everyday. My young child has tripped and injured himself so many times.
We also have a farm at the end of our road on Hay Lane and have tractors, large lorrie’s and delivery drivers who constantly drive over onto our pavement causing more disruption and breakage due to it being a narrow lane.
As you can appreciate it’s outside my house and we have Hay trucks which drop the hay onto the floor. I can’t not sweep the floor to remove the mess, however this means more crumbled tarmac is taken away leaving a huge pot hole in the ground. I have attached some photographs for you to see what it looks like now.
Recently, I reported the pavement again on fix my street assuming someone will priories this, however the case has been closed again.
Please could you advise me on what I can do to fix this pavement as it looks awful and it is constantly breaking bit by bit causing more of a hazard outside my property.
It is really upsetting and frustrating that we pay all this council tax and yet the council are unable to fix this issue for me.
Would appreciate some feedback and a solution to what we can do. This issue has been like this from 2022 since we moved and has gotten worse over the years.
