Any one individual is typically there only while they are in the shop. However, there is almost always at all times throughout the day someone parked there. They think they are ‘just quickly popping into the shop’. But if many people are doing that constantly, it becomes very dangerous. Adding another example from approx 3.45pm on 25 July. Send a parking inspector - they’ll make a fortune.

  • This has been passed to the Parking Services Team.

    Subject to available resources, a civil enforcement officer (traffic warden) will go and assess, and if a vehicle is parked in contravention of a parking restriction, a penalty charge notice may be issued.
