Bollard knocked off stand by fire appliance responding to an incident.

Reported via desktop in the Bollard light not working category anonymously at 10:44, Sat 19 July 2025

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7901649.

While attending an operational incident at pinewood studios on 18/07 the fire appliance brushed the illuminated bollard causing it to come loose and topple over. This was rectified and the bollard secured back on its stand. It appears that it was still working and there was no clear damage. However, this can not be fully proven and therefore a equipment inspection would be recommended.

Updates

  • The Street Lighting Team aim to repair all faulty lighting within 20 working days, however, there may be some circumstances that this time for repairs is be extended. For example, if it is an electricity supply fault, this will be passed to the local electricity network operator to attend and rectify as we cannot work on their network, in these cases we will update you to let you know it is an electricity supply fault.
