Outside Hamilton academy on zig zag yellow lines

Parents are regularly parking on the zig zag yellow lines on priory Avenue at school pick up time, this makes it dangerous for children to cross and also for the lollipop lady. When asked why they are doing this it is because they fear they will get a ticket on double yellow lines and think it is ok to park on the zig zag yellow school lines

  • This has been passed to the Parking Services Team.

    Subject to available resources, a civil enforcement officer (traffic warden) will go and assess, and if a vehicle is parked in contravention of a parking restriction, a penalty charge notice may be issued.
