Large willow tree causing obstruction to safe view of pathway and road.

Reported via mobile in the Footpath / pavement problem category anonymously at 07:52, Wed 9 July 2025

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7830867.

Pulling out of driveway to turn right the view is obscured in these photos is a car travelling in that direction that can’t be seen owing to the tree and legally parked cars. Willow tree in House next door. It is also a problem for pedeasrtians walking down the street. The residents from a care home mostly now cross on the busy junction with busy and hazardous Hughenden road. As the tree blocks the pavement and encroaches onto the highway. The photos showing the other direction are taken from the middle of the pavement and shows the extent of the obstruction to the pavement from tree and evergreen hedge. It is difficult to navigate for dog walkers, people walking in pairs or more and people pushing babies. This is the third time over a number of years that this problem has been reported. I note the owner has attempted to cut a patch from the tree to create a safe pathway. It dies not achieve this. And remains low to the ground and to eye level when trying to turn right. It is not safe. Can the council tree officers give advice and an order to keep the tree in a safe condition to all road users and pedestrians?
