Pink Road near the entrance to Widmer Equestrian, 40mph & derestriction signs
Reported via iOS in the Road sign without a light category anonymously at 14:51, Sun 6 July 2025
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7816480.
“The speed sign 40/ derestricted on reverse is missing. The large speed sign is missing on one side of the road and the other sign is obscured by foliage. The pole is there but this is a very fast road with no footpath and many cyclists”.
This is the report made by someone else yesterday Saturday 05 July [ref: 7812771]. But in their report the PIN is incorrectly shown [it needs to be on Pink Road], and their report lacks a photograph.
The photographs show the view heading towards Lacey Green windmill. The speed limit signs are in advance of a blind bend to the left. Report ref 7812771 mentions the lack of a footpath and that it is a popular route for cyclists. I can add that Pink Road is also very popular indeed with horse riders, presumably because of the proximity of Widmer Equestrian Centre.
