Why 50mph limit in place and no timescale for repair
Reported via desktop in the Bollards or railings category anonymously at 09:42, Sunday 6 July 2025
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7815171.
The speed limit is reduced from 70 to 50mph for minor damage to central barrier..yet a single carriageway has no central reservation and cars travel safely at 60mph.. There is no indication of when repair will be carried out and an excessive area has been restricted.. Could a little common sense and less bureaucratic/H&S thinking be applied in these situations?
