Constant parking on double yellow lines, people either picking up dry cleaning or getting coffee. People just park and sit in the coffee shop. This causes lots of traffic when Lorry’s or the bin men come, sometimes it can be on both sides of the road. The bmw in the picture is a regular offender, and they actually sit on chairs on the pavement watching all the commotion they cause. Unfortunately this has been going on for years and we never see traffic wardens!

  • This has been passed to the Parking Services Team.

    Subject to available resources, a civil enforcement officer (traffic warden) will go and assess, and if a vehicle is parked in contravention of a parking restriction, a penalty charge notice may be issued.
