Trees and hedges hanging into road

Hi all the trees and hedges on the side of the Northmill are getting so overgrown they are hanging into the road and making it difficult for cars to park. Cars are having to be more into the road and cannot get close to curb. The trees and bushes go all the way along Northmill.

    Hi Network Rail have advised that because the overgrown trees are over hanging outside of their fence it is not their responsibility and down to local council. So back to you I am afraid.

  • No change, looks like Council and Network Rail have different views on who is responsible.

  • Still no resolution. The Council say its Railways to resolve but the Railways say its the Council. So looks like neither of them want to sort it.

  • No ownership taken. Network Rail think its the councils responsibility because the bushes are hanging over the fence and the council believe it is the Railway responsibility because the bushes grow behind the fence. Bit of a joke.
