Grass at entrance to Roundlands

Reported via mobile in the Grass cutting category anonymously at 11:30, Friday 20 June 2025

Sent to Lacey Green Parish Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7738611.

The last 2 times that your grass mowers have cut the grass at the entrance to Roundlands in Lacey Green they have snapped off large branches from a tree on the green. This appears to be caused by simply ploughing through the lower branches on their ride on mower. They were seen today by various neighbours and left the branch hanging dangerously on an area of land that many children cross on their way home from school in the village. Please contact me to discuss how you will deal with this and how you will make sure that staff are hired that aren't causing more issues than they're solving. They only cut the grass occasionally so we cut it most weekends, so they're not really supplying a useful service to begin with. I look forward to your swift response. Barry
