West Street and Stowe Avenue junction
Reported via mobile in the Grass cutting category by Jason Hopewell at 08:53, Friday 20 June 2025
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council 3 days, 7 hours, 32 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 7737446.
Reported on 4 June. No inspection took place within 10 working days. This was the response expected from highway report ref: 7658973.
It would appear that this patch of land is not being covered by either the rural or urban teams. Please review and adopt this into one of the teams- ideally the urban team as the location is at a busy junction. Please cut the grass and treat the weeds. Thank you.

A Highway Officer will carry out an inspection within the next 10 working days, some weeds due to their location may require a specialist equipment for safety reasons, if your Highway Officer is unable to clear the weeds on site, they will arrange for the specialist team carry out the work, which in some cases can take up to 28 days.

Our Urban and Rural grass cutting schedules start in April each year and is delivered in collaboration with Parish Councils. Priority will be given to road junctions where clear visibility for Highway users is important. The Grass Cutting programme is split into 2 types, Urban and Rural cuts.
The works programme is weather dependant and subject to delays. We therefore ask that you remain patient should there be delays or excessive growth in-between cuts. Where strimming around obstacles like signposts is needed, this will happen within 3 days of the grass cutting in an area which may not happen at the same time.State changed to: Closed
