Temporary road sign in Mandeville Road near junction with Harvey Rd

Reported via mobile in the Unauthorised signs category anonymously at 14:51, Monday 16 June 2025

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council 21 hours, 23 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 7717731.

On Thursday the 12th June at about 1345 I was turning left out of Harvey Rd to go towards Stoke Mandeville. Because of roadworks (controlled by 3 way lights).

Because the left exit was blocked, traffic was being directed onto the far lane, normally used for traffic going towards the town.

I pulled into the centre of the road over the White marked roundabout, before turning left, when the front nearside wing scrapped against the edge of the temporary sign.

In my opinion because of the roadworks, this rather visually obscure sign should have been removed, to enable traffic to safely turn at an angle to avoid sticking the sign.
