Faulty pay machine: Railway Place car park (High Wycombe)

Reported via desktop in the Faulty pay machine category anonymously at 11:04, Monday 16 June 2025

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7715915.

I paid for my car parking at around 12.25 on Weds 11th June using Apple Pay, the 'payment accepted' message came up on the screen. At 1844 on Thurs 12th June, over 30hrs later, I got a payment declined message come up on my Apple Pay, I have spoken to my bank on Friday 13th June and after they investigated this over the weekend it appears that it is a faulty pay machine that is the issue, where the pay machine has failed to process my card in the correct way at the correct time causing me to be unaware of the decline at the time. My bank confirms that they I have not identified any bank error, and believe the error lies with the a faulty pay machine
