Outside number 48 Belgrave Road

Reported via Android in the Parking on a footpath category anonymously at 16:17, Sunday 15 June 2025

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7712570.

Just wanted to flag an ongoing issue that’s causing quite a few problems. There’s a vehicle regularly blocking the footpath completely, which means anyone in a wheelchair, with a pram, or older pedestrians are having to step into the road to get by — clearly not ideal from a safety point of view.

Last week it even caused issues for the bin crew, who couldn’t get the lorry through and had to move the bins manually — not great for them, and definitely not safe.

On top of that, the same vehicle is leaking oil onto the pavement, which is a slip hazard (especially when it rains) and another health and safety concern.

Would really appreciate it if this could be looked into before someone gets hurt.

Updates

  • This has been passed to the Parking Services Team.

Subject to available resources, a civil enforcement officer (traffic warden) will go and assess, and if a vehicle is parked in contravention of a parking restriction, a penalty charge notice may be issued.
