6 mayhew cresent hp13 6bx

Reported via mobile in the Footpath / pavement problem category anonymously at 18:27, Saturday 14 June 2025

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7710006.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to formally request the removal or relocation of a lamppost that is causing significant obstruction to my driveway, located at 6 mayhew cresent hp13 6bx. Despite multiple attempts to safely maneuver my vehicle, the positioning of the lamppost has made it increasingly difficult to access my driveway, leading to numerous challenges that have affected my daily life.

Regrettably, due to the obstruction, I have experienced multiple incidents where my vehicle has collided with the corner of my driveway while attempting to enter or exit my property. This issue has not only resulted in financial burdens due to damages but has also created an issue for two of my sons who were born with sighted issues leading them to open the door and hit the lampost leading to damage on the car doors. The current placement of the lamppost is highly impractical and presents an ongoing risk that could lead to further accidents if left unaddressed.

I kindly request that Buckinghamshire Council assess this issue and provide a solution, whether by completely removing the lamppost or relocating it to a more suitable position. If full removal is not feasible, a minor repositioning would significantly improve accessibility and alleviate the risks associated with its current location.

I would appreciate a prompt response this issue and have provided photographic evidence .I sincerely trust that the council values the safety and convenience of its residents and will take the necessary steps to address this issue efficiently.

Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to your response.

Yours sincerely, Shabir Hussain
