Parking on double yellows and totally blocking the pavement

Have reported this on numerous occasions. Same orange mini and sometime blue Astra parking on Squirrel Lane as the single track starts. Dates and times seen:- Wed 21/5/25 1710 to 2045 Thurs 22/5/25 1645 BH Mon 26/5/25 10am Wed 28/5/25 7pm to 2120 Thurs 29/5/25 0715, 1940 and 2115 Sat 31/5/25 1700 Sun 1/6/25 there all day Mon 2/6 0650 Totally blocks the pavement and I’m sure emergency vehicles would struggle to get down the lane. Don’t know how many times this has to be reported before something is actually done?!

  • This has been passed to the Parking Services Team.

    Subject to available resources, a civil enforcement officer (traffic warden) will go and assess, and if a vehicle is parked in contravention of a parking restriction, a penalty charge notice may be issued.
