Damaged/eroded/narrowed pavement

Reported via mobile in the Grass cutting category anonymously at 13:28, Tuesday 10 June 2025

Sent to Gerrards Cross Town Council 2 days, 1 hour, 13 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 7688499.

The surface of the pavement outside properties 93 to 99 Packhorse road has eroded and narrowed due to lack of maintenance. This has made it quite dangerous to use, particularly since there will be people standing at the South Park bus stop and passing them on foot is a hazard given how narrow the pavement is there. Also, given the lack of tarmac, the pavement is either muddy or dusty depending on weather, making it an unpleasant experience to use it. The pavement on the other side of the road is in much better condition, but given the traffic at any one time, it is impractical to expect people to cross the road twice to avoid this damaged stretch of pavement. Please do review the problem at your earliest convenience. It looks like the problem has existed for a very long time, since there are signs of an earlier dropped kerb which is no longer in use but has not been reconverted to a walkway.
