This is a long standing problem that continues to escalate every day.

Reported via iOS in the Parking on double yellow lines category anonymously at 18:00, Monday 9 June 2025

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7684226.

These waste containers continue to be parked day in and day out on the double yellow lines along the entrance to the Packhorse Road , Gerrards Cross Car Park. Often overflowing! And numbers of bins steadily increasing. That and the constant illegal parking of cars on the double yellow lines and onto the pavement opposite, are creating a very dangerous situation for people walking in and out of the car park, forcing them to walk in the middle of this entry road, sometimes with small children and pushchairs. This is clearly a blatant violation of rules and safety and yet no official action seems to be taken. Please consider this as a dangerous hazard, never mind the unnecessary unsightliness caused as a welcome to GX and to a public parking space.

Updates

  • This has been passed to the Parking Services Team.

Subject to available resources, a civil enforcement officer (traffic warden) will go and assess, and if a vehicle is parked in contravention of a parking restriction, a penalty charge notice may be issued.
