Drains completely blocked
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7682483.
I've reported these on two previous occasions. I was informed that the clearing of these drains would be carried out when the A4010 drains were cleared. I watched as the A4010 drains were cleared across the road from these blocked ones on Little Lane a couple of months ago but they weren't added. When we have heavy rainfall grit collects at the bottom of the road at the junction and cars aren't able to grip he road properly. Please could these be scheduled to be cleared ASAP. I first reported these nearly two years ago!

This has been passed to the Highway Officer to investigate.
We know that an important part of any road network is the drainage system which is designed to carry water away from the road surface. Even when a gully is clean and well maintained it will only cope with a certain volume of water at one time, a sudden and heavy downpour can still cause flooding especially if the road is in a low lying area.
The Highway Officer is only able to inspect the drain when the water has cleared away, this will be done within 10 days and if required, an order will be raised to clear the drain.

The Highways Officer has attended the site and completed an inspection based on your report.
As a result of this inspection, we plan to resolve the issue reported within 6-8 weeks.
