Light shining through bedroom window
Reported via mobile in the Light on during the day category anonymously at 21:46, Friday 6 June 2025
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7673319.
The street lamp directly outside the front of 36 Spruce Road shines brightly into the master bedroom. Whilst the lamp looks lovely and we appreciate the safety they provide - it does cause a nuisance to us and our newborn son at nighttime as, despite the black out blinds, light still filters in around the blinds. Please can the glass pane facing the house be painted? Many thanks, Anna and Harry

The Street Lighting Team aim to repair all faulty lighting within 20 working days, however, there may be some circumstances that this time for repairs is be extended. For example, if it is an electricity supply fault, this will be passed to the local electricity network operator to attend and rectify as we cannot work on their network, in these cases we will update you to let you know it is an electricity supply fault.
