Overgrown verges causing poor visibility to cars joining New Road
Reported via mobile in the Grass cutting category anonymously at 04:29, Sat 24 May 2025
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7611930.
The grass verges at the junction of Slad Lane and New Road (opposite Smalldean Lane junction) are dangerously overgrown. The overgrown grass on the verge at this crossroads is restricting the visibility of drivers leaving Lacey Green (travelling towards Walter’s Ash) being able to see vehicles joining New Road from Slad Lane. It is also dangerously restricting the visibility for vehicles emerging from Slad Lane onto New Road. This is a fast section of New Road with cars travelling up to 60mph so the lack of visibility is causing a danger to road users on New Road and those trying to join it.

Our works programme is very weather dependant and subject to delays. We therefore ask that you remain patient should there be delays or excessive growth in-between cuts.
