Grass cutting in lower close and upper abbotts
Reported via mobile in the Open spaces category anonymously at 15:53, Sunday 18 May 2025
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council 1 day, 20 hours, 24 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 7585654.
Grass was cut with tractor more than 2wks ago and within a day or two, the weeds were already grown a few inches. For some reason the sit on mower which does edges and under trees didn’t come round till 2/3wks later so we’re left with short dead grass edges and growing grass with weeds a foot tall. It looks disgraceful and a mess . They also haven’t cut much under the trees so very overgrown. We have for last 18mths constantly had to complain as residents for the cuts to get done and when they are it’s a disgrace. We pay thru our council tax for this service and it’s not good enough. The various machines all used to run up the same day or within a day of each other, why is that no longer being done.

Our Urban and Rural grass cutting schedules start in April each year, full details of the grass cutting programme will be published on our website nearer the time.
Our works programme is very weather dependant and subject to delays. We therefore ask that you remain patient should there be delays or excessive growth in-between cuts.
